We specialize in precision one off parts and solutions. Though this more than trickles down to our regular production parts, we take pride in being able to take on custom and complicated jobs with only a moments notice, with very reasonable rates. We like a challenge!

Custom PCB testing rigs:
Carbotron was contracted to design and fabricate 3 industiral quality double sided populated PC board testing and programming rigs. With the first functional for delivery 9 days from project inception. Designing around the goals with an eye torwards minimal cost and ease of local parts and material sourcing. We were able to design and manufacture an inexpensive, very robust full ball bearing machined aluminum machine that has reconfigurable plexiglass platens. Within the deadline!

Barrel throttle machined parts:
Due to team machining and timing issues, with only several hours left, Carbotron was contacted to possibly CNC machine and deliver parts to complete the CMR barrel throttle. We went and took their designs one step further and made the parts lightweight and elegant and still delivered ontime. All pieces pictured sans the red throttle barrel are Carbotron pieces. Production of the carbon body and restrictor was part of our original sponsorship package, but it's hard to say no to a challenge.

Custom intercooler piping:
Carbotron was contacted by a local track enthusiast to improve the fit and function of their track cars' intercooler plumbing. This is one of the more complex parts we came up with. Fabricated steel anti-crush sleeves, Tial BOV flange and boost takeoff nipples are bonded in. The interior is just as smoothif not smoother than the clear coated exterior, and sees 26psiG of pressure at over 300F on trackdays. The pipe tapers from 1.9" to 2.85" ID along it's entire length and was flow and bend optimized and it's mold CNCd for exact fitment. It's a tricky part.

Tapered intake plumbing :
Due to an odd normally aspirated built engine swap, no off the shelf intake would fit this GC wagon. so we made one. Tapers from 80mm to 65mm ID and has fabricated anti crush ends and a takeoff port for the idle air control bonded on it.

Carbon fiber cards :
An interesting way to make a statement! Carbon fiber business or credit cards!
We did a run of these in various finishes and thickness for a marketing company.
